Los próximos 27 y 28 de Julio se llevará a cabo la IV versión del WOMEN ECONOMIC FORUM -WEF-COLOMBIA, en la ciudad de Bogotá.
Desde el 2015, El WOMEN ECONOMIC FORUM-WEF– ha venido congregando mujeres y hombres líderes en 30 países en el mundo, quienes con sus ponencias, paneles y conferencias aportan valiosos conocimientos y experiencias hacia miles de asistentes, bajo la presidencia de su fundadora la Dra Harbeen Arora Rai, originaria de la India y creadora de 5 plataformas cuyo propósito se enfocan en aportar al cierre de la brecha de género, para que se acorte sustancialmente el tiempo estimado de los 202 años para lograrlo.
En esta IV versión en Colombia, la agenda incluirá personalidades referentes de todos los sectores, vale decir gobierno, empresa privada, ONG, Fundaciones y emprendimientos a nivel nacional e internacional.
Teniendo en cuenta la relevancia, impacto y trascendencia que representa este evento para ampliar las oportunidades económicas, sociales, culturales y políticas de las mujeres en los diversos ámbitos y lo que esto significa como aporte al cierre de la brecha de género, equidad e inclusión, la alcaldesa de Bogotá, la doctora Claudia López dará apertura a la programación y presentará su conferencia “Liderando la transformación”.

temas en los siguientes ejes temáticos en el primer día: Mujeres en puestos de dirección relaciones diplomáticas y cooperación internacional, desarrollo sostenible, discapacidad y oportunidades de inclusión, diversidad y equidad, mujeres 4.0, reducción de la brecha STEM (por sus siglas en inglés Ciencia, Tecnología, Ingeniería y Matemáticas) , retos y oportunidades para el emprendimiento, El arte y el cierre de brechas, Innovación y disrupción, recursos naturales e hídricos y el papel de la mujer en este sector.
En el día 28, se hablará sobre la conexión con la conciencia, el mindset y el emprendimiento femenino, oportunidades de crecimiento para pymes, mujeres en puestos de dirección y alianzas, políticas y programas internacionales que fomentan el emprendimiento femenino, la sororidad su significado e impacto.
Se enfatizará acerca del FACTOR W, el cual define la comunicación de la mujer líder con su entorno. Estará a cargo de Chiara Corazza, quien forma parte del Consejo Asesor de Igualdad de Género #G7 y representa el Sector Privado por Francia en el G20 EMPOWER, siendo una de las mujeres más destacadas en el continente europeo.
Adicionalmente a esta agenda, vendrán integrantes del G100, grupo que aglutina a 100 líderes de todos los rincones del planeta, quienes marcan la diferencia con sus acciones en pro del cierre de la brecha, la equidad y la inclusión.
Definitivamente es un evento sin par en nuestra región, de interés para todas las mujeres y hombres que le apuestan a la apertura de más y mejores oportunidades económicas y de mayor participación femenina en la economía mundial, la cual, según estudios, representaría un incremento del 26%.

On July 27 and 28, the IV version of the WOMEN ECONOMIC FORUM -WEF-COLOMBIA will take place in the city of Bogotá.

The wonderful agenda of the two days of the event will have the participation of women panelists from 15 countries, who will visit Colombia, developing topics in the following thematic axes on the first day: Women in management positions, diplomatic relations and international cooperation, sustainable development, disability and opportunities for inclusion, diversity and equity, women 4.0, bridging the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) gap, challenges and opportunities for entrepreneurship, art and closing gaps, innovation and disruption, natural and water resources and the role of women in this sector.

Emphasis will be placed on the W FACTOR, which defines the communication of the woman leader with her environment.
